FAQ
Where do you make your broth and where can I get it?
We proudly make all of our broth from scratch in Dogpatch, San Francisco and serve it at our shop in Noe Valley. We also now ship nationwide!
Nationwide shipping is new! Where do you ship to and how does it arrive?
We now ship to all 48 continental states! We send it frozen on ice straight to your door Monday through Thursday, and it generally takes 2 to 3 days to arrive once shipped.
How long does the broth last?
Local pickup: Consume or freeze within 4 days.
Nationwide shipping: Your broth may arrive defrosted – that is just fine. Be sure to put it in the fridge, and use or refreeze within 7 days.
Can I freeze/refreeze the broth?
Absolutely! It does not affect the flavor or quality to freeze or refreeze the broth.
Where can I find calories/nutrition info?
Calories and nutrition info are available on the product pages.
Whats the difference with your broth?
Taste and see for yourself! We PILE bones into our kettles so it’s dense, gelatinous and rich. We simmer for a full day, the traditional way. We source our bones directly and cook them ourselves in our commercial facility. We package our broth in stainless steel kegs and glass jars in order to avoid plastic that the entire food industry is using. What does this mean? No micro plastics leaching into the broth, and no massive pile of plastic in our trash bin at the end of every day.
We know and control every part of our broth making process, and in doing so ensure we are taking no shortcuts. We refuse to sacrifice quality in the name of "efficiency."
Why does it matter that the broth doesn't touch plastic?
We believe avoiding plastic and microplastics is better for your health.
